This Product Analyst role will support out Product team  in delivering a world-class experience to customers, keeping Bikmo as the leading insurer for bike lovers.

Insurance Sector experience is not required - we're looking for team members who will challenge previously held views of how insurance companies operate, in favour of utilising technology and design to provide an exceptional experience to our customers. 

Role + Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Head of Insurance Product, the focus is to provide reporting and analysis 

internally and externally with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. A self starter who is results orientated. 

● Timely Regular Reporting, examples of which, 

○ Responsible for daily and monthly bordereaux reporting for our underwriters

○ Commission statements for our partners 

● Data interrogation and analysis 

○ Product price checks 

○ Product trend analysis 

○ Insurance reporting & analysis 

○ Conversion, retention and cancellation analysis 

○ Identifying patterns and trends in data sets. 

○ Other reports & analysis as required from time to time

Skills + Experiences 


● Exceptional Excel skills with a good analytical brain. 

● Experience of Databases and SQL knowledge 

● High level of accuracy with attention to detail. 

● Good problem solving skills, methodical and a logical approach to your work

● Skills to document own work and review outputs 

● Effective communicator, both verbal and written as you need to be able to articulate your work in a clear and professional manner. 

● Efficient - you will need to plan work and meet deadlines, so need to be able to manage tasks efficiently, promptly and be solution focused. 

● Knowledge of the cycling industry 

● Knowledge of the insurance industry 

Salary + Benefits 

This role is a full time permanent role at 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based out of our Chester office, although we do allow some remote working. Hours will be flexible but will be tailored according to business requirements. Full training will be provided.  The starting salary for this role is £20,000 per annum, with salary reviewed at the end of the first six months and annually thereafter.

As with most of the world, we are currently working remotely. During lockdown we will work closely with you over video calls, screen shares, and Slack to get you into the systems and up to speed on our projects as well as developing a good understanding of our existing systems, our roadmap, and our working expectations.
